On iPhone, with Premium, a habit can check itself off when Apple Health shows you reached the goal, so there’s nothing to log.

## Link a habit to Health

1. Open the habit form and find **Auto-complete from Health**.
2. Choose a **Source**: **Steps**, **Sleep**, **Workout**, **Mindful minutes**, **Active energy**, **Walk + run distance** or **Water**.
3. Set the **Goal**, like 8,000 steps or 7 h of sleep.
4. Allow BeHabit to read that data when your iPhone asks.

The habit then shows “From Apple Health” with today’s value, and ticks itself off once you get there.

## Privacy

BeHabit only **reads** the metrics you link. It never writes to Health, and Health data stays on your iPhone.

**Settings › Apple Health** shows how many habits complete themselves from Health.

## It isn’t ticking off

- Check that access is on in the Health app: **Sharing › Apps › BeHabit**.
- Health data can arrive late, for example from a watch that syncs later. The habit shows “waiting for today’s data” until it comes in.
- Apple Health isn’t available on iPad or Android.
