> The morning after a miss, Today offers the smallest version of the habit and your reason why. One tap and it counts as a comeback.

Missing one day is normal, and BeHabit treats it that way. Your streak restarts, but your history stays, and getting back is made as easy as possible.

## The morning after

If yesterday was scheduled and not done, Today shows a card at the top:

> Missed a day. That is fine.

Under it is your reason why (if you wrote one), or “One small step today puts [habit] back on track.”

- If the habit has a **Minimum version**, a **Just…** button logs it in one tap. For example, “Just 2 pages”.
- **Open [habit] →** takes you to the habit.
- ✕ hides the card for the day.

This card is for Build habits on a daily or chosen-days schedule. Weekly (times per week) habits don’t get it, since any day can still count.

## A comeback

Do the habit today after missing yesterday and the card says “You came back. That’s the habit.” Insights counts it as a **comeback**. See [Consistency, comebacks and best week, explained](https://behabit.app/help/consistency-explained).

## Never miss twice

When a habit’s streak is at 0 but it has a history, its screen shows how much of the last 30 days you did, and, if you set a minimum version, “Never miss twice. Today, just: …” with a **Log it** button.
