Terms of use

The app

BeHabit is a personal habit tracker. The free version works entirely on your device. We provide it as is, and while we work hard to keep it reliable, we cannot promise it will be free of errors or available at all times.

Your data

Your habits and check-ins belong to you. You are responsible for keeping a copy (the app can export everything as a file from Settings) and for the security of the device it lives on. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.

Premium

Premium is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through the App Store or Google Play and subject to their terms. Where the store offers a free trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by the store.

Premium adds unlimited habits, widgets, cloud backup and sync, shared habits, assistant actions (Siri, Shortcuts, Gemini) and Apple Health auto-completion. We may change what Premium includes; if we remove something you paid for, we will say so and give you a fair alternative.

Shared habits

When you share a habit, keep it civil. Nudges and cheers are for encouragement. We may remove content or access that is used to harass someone.

Health

BeHabit helps you keep track of things you have decided to do. It is not medical advice and is not a treatment for any condition. Quit-habit features, including the urge timer, are supportive tools, not a substitute for professional help.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break the service, reverse engineer the Premium sync, or use it to store anything unlawful.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of BeHabit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
