The Year widget and wallpaper, Today on the Lock Screen, Control Center controls, quick actions, Spotlight and Focus filters.
Updated
BeHabit reaches a little further than the Home Screen. Most of these are on iPhone; Premium is marked.
Year widget for the Lock Screen (iPhone, Premium)
Every day of the year as a dot: what has passed, and what is left. It comes as a rectangle, a circle, or a line above the clock.
- Touch and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
- Choose Lock Screen and tap the area under the clock.
- Find BeHabit and pick the Year widget.
Year wallpaper (Premium)
Settings › Widgets › Year wallpaper turns your whole year into a full-screen Lock Screen picture, in Dark, Black or Light. Tap Save image.
- Android: switch on Update every night and BeHabit redraws your Lock Screen wallpaper just after midnight.
- iPhone: a wallpaper is a still picture, but Shortcuts can set a fresh one every day. In Shortcuts, add a daily Time of Day automation with the BeHabit action Get Year Wallpaper, then Set Wallpaper Photo. The steps are on the Year wallpaper screen.
Today on Lock Screen (iPhone, Premium)
Settings › Habits › Today on Lock Screen shows a Live Activity with your progress and next habit on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, until the day is done. It’s off until you turn it on.
A running focus timer shows there too, on the free plan.
Control Center, Lock Screen buttons and the Action Button (iOS 18+, Premium)
Two controls:
- Check Off Habit marks the habit you pick done for today.
- Log Today opens BeHabit on today’s habits.
Add them to Control Center (swipe down from the top right, hold an empty spot, tap Add a Control, pick BeHabit), to the Lock Screen (hold it, tap Customize, replace one of the bottom buttons), or to the Action Button in your iPhone’s Settings.
Free extras
- Quick actions (iPhone and Android): touch and hold the BeHabit icon for Log today, New habit, and up to two of today’s habits to mark done.
- Spotlight (iPhone): search for a habit by name to open it, or for “add habit”.
- Focus filters (iPhone): show only some habits while a Focus is on. In your iPhone’s Settings › Focus, pick a Focus, tap Add Filter, choose BeHabit, and pick the categories to keep, or hide quit habits. Today follows the Focus; the Planner and Insights keep everything.
